Shipping & Delivery

Unlike many other web sites that have special rules and lots of fine print, Prospecs offers $8 FedEx shipping on all orders shipped within the U.S.A. Orders shipped to Canada have a flat rate $50 shipping via USPS.

Prospecs understands that getting your items quickly is important to you, so we’ll process and ship all orders within 24 hours, Monday-Friday, excluding holidays. Your order will be shipped via FedEx Ground, ensuring your package will arrive within 2 to 7 business days, but no more than 10 business days. Please ensure that a physical address is used for the "SHIP TO" because FedEx ONLY SHIPS to physical adresses. We will use USPS if a POBOX is entered.

Privacy & Security

Respecting our customer's privacy has never been an issue with us. You can visit this site without telling us who you are or revealing any information about yourself. We value your business and trust, which is why you never have to worry about Prospecs using your name or personal information inappropriately. We will not sell, exchange, rent or loan this information.

Prospecs does continue to gather information from our customers on a voluntary basis. This data is very critical in helping us learn more about what our customers expect and demand from their Prospecs products and services. This means that any information we receive from a customer implies consent for our use of their information. Prospecs honors and follows the international guidelines of the Direct Marketing Association for Privacy Practices. We thank our customers for their trust.

Prospecs acknowledges and supports our customer's right to direct the use of their personal data and will maintain an "opt-out" option, which allows you to request the removal of your name from any mailing or telephone list. The Site is not intended for or structured to attract children under the age of 18. Accordingly, we do not intend to collect personal information from anyone we know to be under 18 years of age.

Exchanges & Returning Merchandise

We want you to be happy with your purchase! Exchanging or returning is not a problem as long as shoes are kept in "like new" condition.

Merchandise purchased online may be exchanged or returned for size, fit or style reasons within 30 days of shipment of your order, provided it has not been worn outside, shows evidence of excessive wear, misuse, or alteration. If you desire to return your Prospecs merchandise it's easy to do.

Just mail us back the shoes, including the extra laces, along with a copy of your order form, so we know who they belong to!

Once we receive your purchase we will credit your account the price of the shoes. Returns will be credited in the form of original payment and an e-mail notification will be sent. Please allow 1 - 2 billing cycles for the credit to appear on your statement.

Defective Merchandise

LIMITED WARRANTY RELATING TO PROSPECS FOOTWEAR: Prospecs products are covered by a one-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Damage that is due to normal wear and tear, abuse or accidents is not covered by this warranty.  Prospecs reserves the right in its sole discretion to make all determinations regarding warranty coverage. All products with warranty claims must be returned to the US.

Disclaimer: The limited warranty relating to Prospecs footwear is in lieu of any other warranties, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. No agent, employee or representative of Prospecs has any authority to bind Prospes to any affirmation, representation or warranty concerning Prospecs branded footwear products, except as stated herein. Prospecs shall not be liable for any consequential or incidental damages.

This limited product warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state. Any implied warranties shall be effective for a period not exceeding 12 months from the date of purchase. Some states do not allow manufacturers to impose time limitations on certain implied warranties, so the above limitation may not apply to you.


Finding the Items You Want: Use the navigation menus at the top of any page to start shopping. You can also search our site by entering a keyword into the search box at the top of any page. Detailed product information is just a click or two away. 

Adding Items to Your Shopping Cart: Once you've found an item you'd like to order, simply select all the required options (such as size and quantity) and click “ADD TO CART.“ 

Checking Out: From your Shopping Cart, click the “PROCEED TO CHECKOUT” button. If you have an existing Prospecs account, log in, and we'll automatically fill in available shipping and billing information to save time during checkout. If you don't have an Prospecs account, you can check out as a guest. Once you have completed your order, we'll ask you if you'd like to create an account to use next time you visit. Proceed through the checkout screens, filling out the required information on each page. The progress indicator at the top of the screen will let you know when you've completed the Shipping Information and Payment Information sections.

Completing Your Order: On the Review and Submit Order page, you'll have one more chance to look over your order. Click “Submit Order” to place the order. The last screen will be a Thank You page, which you can print out for your records. We'll send you an order confirmation via email, to be followed by a shipping notification with tracking information. Changes to Your Order: We're sorry, order information cannot be changed once you submit your order. We process orders very quickly, and once an order begins the fulfillment process we may be unable to modify it. We apologize for any inconvenience, and we hope that, in the majority of cases, our faster processing times work to your advantage. Viewing Orders

Order Confirmation: If you provided your email address when placing your order, we'll send you an order confirmation. This confirmation will give you the order number and indicate the total value of the merchandise. You can get more information on orders and backorders by going to Purchase History & Order Tracking. We also send a shipping notification email when your order ships (although there are a few exceptions in cases where your item ships from an off-site distribution center). For most orders, the shipping notification will include information on how to track your shipment.

Tracking Numbers: If you provided your email address when placing your order, we'll send you an email with the shipper's tracking number(s) for your shipment(s). We usually provide this information within two days of placing your order. If you deleted or never received this email, please contact us and we'll be glad to provide you with the shipper's tracking information.
